Biography:

Johanna Hoffman is a strategist, urbanist and futurist, specializing in the space between design, planning, fiction and futures. Over the past fifteen years, she has conducted award-winning research, created adaptation strategies for international companies and led long term planning for leading academic centers. 

​She is the Co-founder of Design for Adaptation, a firm that synthesizes strategic planning and creative futures work to help people, cities and organizations transform uncertainty into present day choice. Her work on resilient design, speculative futures and climate adaptation has been honored by organizations around the world.
