About Us

The European Futures Observatory is a UK based foresight institute that operates on a global scale. We were formed in October 2004 as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee (our company name is EUFO Limited, registered in England, reg. no. 04947883). Our work is normally conducted on a project basis in conjunction with one or more partners, with a set of pre-determined deliverables. At any one point in time, we may have a number of live projects being worked upon.

One of our guiding philosophies is the practical value of Futures Studies and what they can add to our personal and organisational lives. To this end, we tend to adopt projects that have some utility and which have a definite end product, be it a publication or a briefing for a meeting.

We do have a limited number of Intern vacancies from time to time, working on a variety of live projects.
