Travis is Associate Director, Future Competitive Environments Lead, at UCB—a global biopharmaceutical company focused on creating value for people living with severe diseases in immunology and neurology.
He has over 8 years of experience blending business, design, and futures expertise to create innovative strategies and solutions in various sectors including energy and utilities, mobility services, and banking and finance.
Travis is also the founder and co-organizer of the Atlanta chapter of the Speculative Futures community, and served as Chair of PRIMER2020, the global conference of the Design Futures Initiative.
Travis holds a Strategic Foresight MBA from California College of the Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
When not engaged in futures work, he can usually be found experimenting with hobbies like electronic music or cooking, or reading up on some topic in philosophy, science, or history.
