THE AGE OF SCARCITY

This project is designed to examine what the world of Peak Oil (and Peak Just About Everything Else) might look like. It is a relatively large project that can be broken into a series of smaller sub-projects. Each of the sub-projects can be seen as a project in its own right, but they also form an essential part of a greater whole.

The sub-projects that we have identified so far are:

1. Modelling the long term future.

2. A history of the next ten years.

3. The onset of scarcity.

4. Scarcity bites.

5. The post-scarcity world.

We have treated each of these as a separate project.

The final output of this project is to be a series of essays of about 12,000 words each, which will be collected together to form a single volume.
