The Suffolk Small Business Project This is a deductive scenario project looking at four possible futures for the small business community in the English county of Suffolk out to the year 2020. The project was undertaken in conjunction with The Greenways Partnership. The project started in July 2003, and reported in September 2004.

America 2025 This is an inductive scenario project looking at US foreign policy futures, at the grand strategic level, out to the year 2025. The project was undertaken in conjunction with a number of partners across the world. The project started in July 2004, and formally ended in September 2007, although the material generated by the project will inform our publications for some time to come.

The Globalisation Of Crime This is an investigative project that examines how the architecture of globalisation not only enhances the legitimate economy, but also the illicit economy as well, and how these developments might evolve in the future. The project is being undertaken as a collaboration. The project started in July 2007 and it is due to report at the World Future Society conference in July 2008.

The Futures Symposia As a means to encourage dialogue between Futurists, we have started to develop a series of Futures Symposia that allow those interested in the future to meet - both on-line and face to face - to discuss futures topics. If you are interested in participating in these, follow the links to the relevant groups.

Ipswich Time Bandits This is a youth futurist project that we are sponsoring. The group is based at Northgate High School in Ipswich. It meets once a week during term time to discuss articles that have appeared in ‘The Futurist’, the Journal of The World Future Society. The group started in September 2005, with sponsorship scheduled to end in July 2009.
