Inaugural Lunch

Restaurant Terminus Nord, Rue de Dunkerque, Paris

18th February 2009; 12:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs.

 

We are pleased to announce the inaugural lunch of the Chapter at the Restaurant Terminus Nord (Click here for details) in Paris. The restaurant is quite literally opposite the Gare du Nord and ten minutes walk from the Gare de l’Est. We chose this location because it would allow members from London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Eastern France, Western Germany, and Switzerland to travel by train to the lunch without having an overnight stay in Paris (unless they want to!).

 

The menu for the lunch (at 35 Euros) is:

We need to thank Kathryn McGlone for her endeavours and help in negotiating this menu for us. It looks absolutely great.

 

The purpose of the lunch is threefold. First, to deal with any business that we might have. Second, to discuss a programme of activity for the future. And finally, to get to know each other a bit better. With the downturn in the economy across Europe, I feel that there will be a premium on networking opportunities that will allow us to work together.

 

It is important for us to know the numbers attending, so we can keep good faith with the restaurant. If you would like to attend, there are three ways of letting us know that you are coming:
