The Globalisation Of Crime Project |
|
It is the case that, increasingly, organised criminals are adopting the architecture of globalisation to further their ends. Organised crime is able to use the transport and financial networks created by the process of globalisation to extend its scope globally. This project will look at some of the aspects of the globalisation of crime and how it will develop in the near future – with particular reference to the architecture of globalisation; the links between criminal gangs, narcotics and money laundering; white collar crime; and the modern slave trade.
